As a cardiothoracic surgeon, I specialize in Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, Complicated Valvular Heart Surgery and Minimal Access Cardiac Surgery.
In my experience in cardiac surgery for the last 20 years, I am seeing an increasing number of young patients with debilitating coronary artery disease leading many times to sudden cardiac death.
That is why we have started the campaign SAVE THE YOUNG HEART to increase awareness and give tools for prevention and give evidence based treatment advice for patients who need Coronary intervention.
