About the Contest

The lockdown imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the closure of fitness activity centers and has drastically affected the social life of people, including their routine fitness activities. During this crisis, it’s essential to stay at home and take care of your fitness. Are you worried about the lack of open spaces and equipment?

But why worry when we’ve got Yoga. Yoga has a diverse range of benefits that will help you in fighting physical and mental health complications, thereby giving you a healthy body and peace of mind at the same time.

The Save, The Young Heart Foundation, is back with a new online contest, Yoga4Heart, to boost your immunity along with strengthening your heart.

Contest Starting Date: 11th June 2021

Contest Ending Date: 14th July 2021

Prize Money:

  1. First Prize: ₹1500/-
  2. Second Prize: ₹1000/-

List of Yoga Asanas

All these asanas are beneficial in strengthening your heart and body. You need to perform any one of the enlisted yoga asanas for the contest.
  • Nadisuddhi Pranayama
  • Brahmari Pranayama
  • Paschimottanasana (or Seated forward bend pose)
  • Ardha matsyendrasana (or Half spinal twist pose)
  • Marjariasana (Cat pose)
  • Head to knee Forward bend(Janu Sirsasana)
  • Setu Bandhasana (or Bridge pose)
  • Salamba Sarvangasana (or Shoulder stand pose)
  • Adho Mukho Svanasana (Downward facing dog pose)
  • Bhujangasana (Cobra pose)
  • Dhanurasana (Bow pose)
  • Utthita Trikonasana (or Extended triangle pose)
  • Tadasana (Mountain pose)
  • Vrikshasana (Tree pose)
  • Veerabhadrasana (Warrior pose)
  • Utkatasana (Chair pose)
  • Standing Forward Bend(Uttanasana)

How to win the contest?

  1. The Yoga asana that the participants need to perform must be only from the enlisted Asanas.
  2. They must perform yoga asanas diligently with perfect posture for a max of 2 minutes and will share the video (landscape mode) through the drive link we have provided them through the registration form.
  3. Fill in the details in the registration form and upload the video.
  4. After uploading the video, it will be uploaded on our Instagram page, mentioning the contestant number and other details.
  5. Then, the participants need to share the video to get likes and engagement. Finally, you need to follow us on our Instagram page, which will help us to tag you and connect with you easily in the future.
  6. The contents will be judged by a professional Yoga Instructor and awarded based on various metrics like correctness of posture, breathing, etc.
  7. The final marks will be awarded by combining the marks allotted by the yoga instructor and the total number of engagements gained

Rules for the contest

  1. It is open for people aged above 13 years
  2. The maximum time limit of the video= 2 minutes
  3. The video should be in Landscape Format.
  4. The video should be clear and properly displaying the yoga postures
  5. Maximum file size of the video= 20 MB
  6. Avoid background noise. However, you can include some soothing music.
  7. Only one person needs to be in the frame.
  8. The video should be original, instead of any professional shots copied from some Gym or Yoga centers or any other medium.
